How to Make Foam for a Cocktail

Creating a foam for use in a cocktail is a simple and creative way to add depth and flavor to your next creation. The process in determining the ingredients that will go in to your foam is similar to the process of coming up with a great cocktail and there are a few principles to keep in mind that will help keep the foam aloft.


For cocktail
Silver tequila 1 1/2 Ounce
Pomegranate juice 1 Ounce
Rhubarb bitters 1 Dash
Simple syrup 1 Dash
Cocktail foam
Egg whites 4
Elderflower liqueur 6 Ounce
Lemon juice 3 Ounce
Water 2 Ounce




1. In a mixing glass measure and pour tequila, pomegrenade juice, rhubarb bitters and simple syrup, stir with ice.


2. Add foam to a chilled cocktail glass. Strain in the cocktail.

3. Flame green chartreuse over the drink.



1. To an isi whipper, add egg whites, elderflower liquer, lemon juice and water.

2. Charge with 2 chargers, shake after 1 charge, refrigerste to chill.


3. Use to top cocktails.
