Mango Chutney

Be it as an appetizer, snack or accompaniment, mango salsa makes for a finger-licking good treat. This perfect summertime recipe is quite easy to put together. This zesty, fruity blend of fresh ripe mangoes and other ingredients is yummy enough to turn any boring dish into real-time favorite.


Cider vinegar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Garlic clove 1 , minced
Jalapeno pepper 2 , slices, deseeded and chopped
Ginger 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) , peeled and chopped
Sugar 2 1/2 Cup (40 tbs)
Mango 6 Cup (96 tbs) , diced
Golden raisin 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)



1. In a saucepan, heat cider vinegar, add garlic, jalapenos ginger and sugar, stir to mix and allow to cook for 5 minutes until the sugar melts.

2. Add in the raisins and mango, and allow to cook for 30 minutes.

3. Take the pan off the heat and allow to cool.


4. Serve as desired.
