White Hot Chocolate and Spiced Hot Chocolate

Well, I still wanted to share this video even though Winter is winding down. Hopefully, you'll be able to use it with your breakfast and brunch recipes. Most of us are still having chilly nights so if you're craving a little something sweet this will do the trick. Enjoy!

Ingredients

For the spiced hot chocolate
Non fat milk 12 Ounce (Low Fat, Whole, or Half & Half)
Dark chocolate 3 Ounce , chopped
Pure vanilla extract 1/2 Teaspoon
Unsweetened cocoa powder 1 1/2 Teaspoon
Sugar 2 Teaspoon
Cinnamon 1 Pinch
Cayenne pepper 1 Pinch
For the white hot chocolate
Nonfat milk 12 Ounce
White chocolate 3 Ounce
Pure vanilla extract 1/2 Teaspoon

Directions

FOR THE SPICED HOT CHOCOLATE

MAKING

In a medium saucepan over medium heat, bring the milk up to a low simmer.

Add in the dark chocolate, cocoa powder, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and cayenne pepper. Whisk until the chocolate is melted and the ingredients are fully blended.

 

SERVING

Garnish with whipped cream and sprinkle chocolate over it, serve and enjoy!

 

FOR THE WHITE CHOCOLATE

MAKING

In a medium saucepan over medium heat, bring the milk up to a low simmer.
