For the spiced hot chocolate | ||
Non fat milk | 12 Ounce (Low Fat, Whole, or Half & Half) | |
Dark chocolate | 3 Ounce , chopped | |
Pure vanilla extract | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Unsweetened cocoa powder | 1 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Sugar | 2 Teaspoon | |
Cinnamon | 1 Pinch | |
Cayenne pepper | 1 Pinch | |
For the white hot chocolate | ||
Nonfat milk | 12 Ounce | |
White chocolate | 3 Ounce | |
Pure vanilla extract | 1/2 Teaspoon |
FOR THE SPICED HOT CHOCOLATE
MAKING
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, bring the milk up to a low simmer.
Add in the dark chocolate, cocoa powder, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and cayenne pepper. Whisk until the chocolate is melted and the ingredients are fully blended.
SERVING
Garnish with whipped cream and sprinkle chocolate over it, serve and enjoy!
FOR THE WHITE CHOCOLATE
MAKING
