Looking for an elegant after dinner treat? Want to impress your guests with a fabulous dessert, even though it was easy to make? Then these Chocolate Cream Shots are for you! It's a cross between Ganache and Panna Cotta, maybe a little pudding too... who needs to name it other than fantastic.

Ingredients

Heavy cream 500 Milliliter ((35% fat whipping cream))
Vanilla bean 1/2 , split lengthwise and scraped clean
Sugar 2/3 Cup (10.67 tbs)
Gelatine 1 Tablespoon ((1 pkg plain gelatine))
Chocolate chip 1 Cup (16 tbs) ((white and dark chocolate mix))

Directions

MAKING

1. In a heavy bottom pot, over medium heat, scald heavy cream with vanilla beans.

2. Remove the pot from heat, take out the vanilla pod, add gelatin, and sugar. Whisk it well and allow it to cool.

3. In another pot, insert chocolate chips, and 1/3 of warm cream mixture. Leave it for 30 seconds and then whisk until the chocolate melts and the mixture is smooth and lump free.

4. Pour remaining cream and whisk it again.

5. Put it in refrigerator for 1 ½ hours to cool down and set.

6. Take the mixture out of the fridge, and with a stand mixer, whisk on high for 45 seconds, or until they are smooth and fluffy.

7. Using a piping bag, put cream shots in short glasses.

SERVING

8. Serve chocolate cream shots chill.
