Moulded Chocolate Cream

Lady fingers 7 , split lengthwise
Sweet cooking chocolate 4 Ounce
Water 3 Tablespoon
Grated orange peel 1 Teaspoon
Orange flavored liqueur 1 Tablespoon
Whipping cream 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Whipped cream 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)


Line bottom and sides of an 8" x 4" loaf pan with aluminum foil.

Arrange a row of 6 ladyfinger halves along bottom of pan.

Cut remaining 8 ladyfinger halves in half crosswise.

Stand upright around sides of pan.

In a small saucepan, combine chocolate, water and orange peel.

Stir over low heat until melted.


Stir in liqueur.

Whip cream in a medium bowl.

Fold chocolate mixture into whipped cream.

Spoon into ladyfinger-lined pan.

Chill several hours.

To serve, lift from loaf pan onto serving plate.

Peel off foil.


Garnish with whipped cream, if desired.
