I love this simple chocolate crunch protein ball recipe that gives me energy and fuels my busy days. Perfect for a mid day snack, vegan and gluten free too!
Nut butter | 4 Tablespoon (Use either peanut, almond or tahini) | |
Protein powder | 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) (vanilla/ chocolate flavor as per your choice) | |
Oat flour | 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) (gluten free variety) | |
Honey/2 packets of truvia | 4 Teaspoon | |
Water/Almond milk | 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) | |
Sea salt | 1 Pinch | |
Cocoa chips/Chocolate chips | 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) | |
Pumpkin seed/Raisins/cranberries | 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) |
MAKING
1. In a bowl, measure out the nut butter, add protein powder, oat flour.
2. Add honey, agave or sugar substitute as per choice.
3. Pour in the water, add the sea salt and mix all the ingredients together.
4. Finally add cocoa bits and pumpkin seeds. Mix well untill uniform.
5. Scoop out 1 heaping teaspoon onto your greased palm and roll into a smooth ball.
6. After making balls out of all the mix, store them in the refrigerator for a while.
SERVING
7. These balls are ready to be had on the same or next day as a healthy delicious snack on the go.
