Honey Butter Chips are one of the best salty/sweet combinations you can have. So we went to Oiji to get their recipe
|Baking potatoes||4 Medium , peeled, thinly sliced|
|Oil||3 Cup (48 tbs) (For deep frying)|
|Honey||1/2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Ground cayenne pepper||1/6 Teaspoon|
|Rich butter||1/4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Brown sugar||2 Tablespoon|
Soak potato slices for 6-10 hours.
Rinse potato slices in running water and dry using paper towels.
In a fryer/ deep skillet heat oil to 325F.
Fry the potato slices in batches until crispy and golden brown.
Drain and allow to cool.
In a saucepan, combine honey, cayenne, butter, brown sugar and whisk well until combined.
Drizzle over chips and toss well.
Serve and enjoy!
