Beef Chow Mein With Bean Sprouts

Beef Chow Mein is simply a delicious mouth-watering side dish recipe. Try this amazingly tempting Beef Chow Mein I am sure you will get a lot of compliments for this one.


Lean ground beef 1 Pound
Condensed beef consomme 1 Can (10 oz)
Cornstarch 2 Tablespoon
Soy sauce 2 Tablespoon
Garlic powder 1 Teaspoon
Ground ginger 1/2 Teaspoon
Frozen chinese pea pods 10 Ounce (1 Package)
Onion 1/2 Medium , thinly sliced
Fresh mushrooms 1/4 Pound , thinly sliced
Celery stalks 1 , thinly sliced
Fresh bean sprouts 1/2 Pound
Hot cooked rice 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)


In glass casserole, crumble beef and cook on roast (7) for 6 minutes or until no longer pink; stir once during cooking.


In glass mixing bowl, combine consomme, cornstarch, soy sauce, garlic powder and ginger.

Cook on high (9) for 7 minutes or until mixture thickens; stir twice during cooking.

Pour thickened mixture into cooked beef.

Add all vegetables except bean sprouts.

Cook on reheat (8) for 10 minutes or until hot, mixing in bean sprouts during last 3 minutes.
