Microwave Chinese Pork and Vegetables

Cooking oil 2 Tablespoon
Onions 8 Ounce , thinly sliced
Carrots 4 Ounce , thinly sliced
Red pepper 1 , deseeded thinly sliced
Pork fillet 1 Pound , thin strips
Shredded cabbage 8 Ounce
Sugar 2 Teaspoon
Cornstarch/Cornstarch 1 Tablespoon
Chicken stock 1/4 Pint
Soy sauce 2 Tablespoon
Flat mushrooms 1 Large , sliced
Salt To Taste
Pepper To Taste



1) In a large, microwavable casserole, add in cooking oil, onions, carrots and red pepper.

2) Cover the casserole and cook the mixture for 3 minutes.

3) Add in the pork chops. Mix well. Cover and cook for 15 more minutes. Stir 3 to 4 times in between to separate the meat.

4) Add in the shredded cabbage, sugar, cornflour, chicken stock, soy sauce, mushrooms, salt and pepper.

5) Mix well, cover and continue to cook for 8 minutes.

6) Let the mixture rest for 15 minutes before serving time.


7) Chinese Pork and Vegetables are served best over noodles.
