Pork Bean Sprouts Chop Suey

Ingredients

Flour 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Salt 2 Teaspoon
Veal 1/2 Pound , cubed
Pork 1/2 Pound , cubed
Crisco 1/3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
Chopped onions 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Celery 1 Cup (16 tbs) , cut in 1
Beef stock/Beef bouillon 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Soy sauce 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Molasses 2 Tablespoon
Canned bean sprouts 16 Ounce (1 Can)

Directions

MAKING

1 In a bowl, mix flour and salt.

2 Add in the meat cubes and toss lightly to coat.

3 In Dutch oven, heat Crisco and brown meat cubes in it.

4 Add in onion and continue browning.

5 Stir in the celery, beef stock, soy, and molasses.

6 Cook, covered over low heat for 25 minutes.

7 Add in bean sprouts.

8 Cook for another 15 minutes.

9 Add additional flour to thicken if necessary.

SERVING

10 Excellemt served over hot cooked rice.
