Chop Chop Chow Mein

Lean ground beef 1 Pound
Chopped onion/1 tablespoon instant minced onion 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) (1/2 Medium Piece)
Sliced celery 1 1/2 Cup (24 tbs) (3 Stalks)
Flour 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Salt 1 Teaspoon
Canned tomato juice 1 Pound (2 Cups)
Undrained mushrooms 4 Ounce (1/2 Cup/1 Can)
Drained bean sprouts 1 Pound (2 Cups/1 Can)
Soy sauce 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)


In large fry pan, fry ground beef.

Drain thoroughly, using paper towel to absorb all excess fat.

Add onion and celery; continue cooking until onions are tender.

Stir in flour and salt.

Add tomato juice, mushrooms and bean sprouts.

Continue cooking until heated through.

Simmer, uncovered, for 15 to 20 minutes.

Serve hot with soy sauce over rice
