Chicken Salad With Chinese Dressing

A quick and easy Chinese chicken salad for all you health conscious foodies. An appetizing salad that combines simple everyday ingredients into an enticing meal. The perfect solution for an easy complete meal idea.


Soya sauce 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
Orange juice 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Rice wine vinegar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Salt To Taste
Sugar To Taste
Ginger powder 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Precooked chicken breast 1 , thinly sliced
Iceberg lettuce 1 , thinly shredded
Carrots 1 Cup (16 tbs) , thinly shredded
Red onion 1 , thinly sliced
Fresh cilantro 3 Tablespoon , finely chopped
Sesame seeds 1 Tablespoon (Toasted)
Orange zest 1⁄4 Teaspoon



1) Dressing : In a bowl, combine the soy sauce, orange juice, vinegar, ginger powder, salt and sugar to taste; blend thoroughly and set aside.

2) In a large mixing bowl, combine the chicken breast, lettuce, carrots and red onion together.

3) Pour over the dressing & toss until thoroughly coated.


4) Spoon the chicken salad mixture over a bed of napa cabbage, garnish with cilatro, sesame seeds, orange zest and serve.
