This is an old favourite appetizer. Shrimp and Paneer may sound like and odd combination but they work well together with the chilli paste encased in a crispy Wonton shell. These can be made ahead and frozen for your Holiday party or celebration.
Shrimp | 8 Ounce , cleaned and deveined | |
Paneer | 6 Ounce , cut in small cubes | |
Spring onions | 4 , finely chopped | |
Chilli garlic paste/Sambal oelek | 2 Tablespoon | |
Salt | To Taste | |
Wonton skins | 20 | |
Flour paste | 2 Tablespoon | |
Oil | 2 Cup (32 tbs) (For deep frying) |
GETTING READY:
Preheat oven to 350°F.
MAKING:
In a wok, heat little oil and saute spring onions, shrimp and cook until shrimp turns pink.
Add chilli paste, salt, panner and stir well. Allow to cool well.
Place mixture on wonton skins and seal using flour paste as shown in the video.
Deep fry in hot oil.
