Love those spare ribs that you can get in many Chinese restaurants? You can recreate these at home. These are easy to make, and require ingredients you can find in the Asian section of your grocery store. You will need soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, hoisin sauce, and some five spice power.

Soy sauce | 2 Tablespoon | |
Rice cooking wine/Dry sherry | 2 Tablespoon | |
Five spice powder | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Chopped garlic | 2 Tablespoon | |
Honey | 2 Tablespoon | |
Ketchup | 2 Tablespoon | |
Spare pork ribs | 2 Pound |
GETTING READY
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Line a baking sheet with foil and place the rack. Set aside.
MAKING
For marinade – In a medium sized bowl, combine Hoisin sauce, sesame oil, soy sauce, rice cooking wine, five spice powder, chopped garlic, honey, and ketchup. Stir until the sauce if fully blended.
Pour over pork spare ribs and marinate for at least 1 hour.
Bake for about 40 to 50 minutes.
SERVING
Serve with some dip.
