Sweet n Spicy Wing on the Pit Barrel Cooker

Perfect balance of heat and sweet! All cooked on the Pit Barrel Cooker!


Chicken drumettes 18
All purpose rub To Taste
For glaze
Chili sauce 1 Cup (16 tbs) (mild or hot)
Honey 3/4 Cup (12 tbs)
Red wine vinegar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Worcestershire sauce 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Red chili flakes 2 Tablespoon (more or less to taste)
Garlic clove 6 , minced
Chopped fresh oregano 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Finely chopped green onion tops 2 Tablespoon
Sea salt 1 Pinch



1. In a large bowl, season chicken drumettes with rub, toss to coat well and pop in refrigerator.

2. Preheat grill.


For Glaze:

3. In a large bowl, combine chili sauce, honey, red wine vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, red chili flakes, garlic, oregano, green onion, and sea salt. Mix until well incorporated. Set aside for a couple of hours for flavors to mingle.

4. Place chicken on grill grated, cover and cook for 30 minutes, turning then once after 20 minutes.

5. Transfer chicken into the bowl with glaze and toss to coat well. Place them back on the grill, cover and cook for 5 minutes, flip and cook for another 5 minutes.


6. Serve hot with dipping sauce and enjoy!
