These lemony, ginger infused, sweet and sour baked chicken wings will have all your guests licking their fingers and asking for more.

Chicken drumettes 2 Pound , the tips cut off
Juice of lemon 2
Zest of lemon 2
Packed brown sugar 3/4 Cup (12 tbs)
Soy sauce 2 Tablespoon
Worcestershire sauce 4 Tablespoon
Ginger piece 1 Inch , peeled, sliced
Jalapeno 1 , halved lengthwise
For garnish
Chopped cilantro 1 Tablespoon

1. Preheat oven to 300 degree F.

2. In a large bowl, combine brown sugar, lemon zest, lemon juice, soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce. Whisk until the sugar is dissolved.

3. Add chicken to the bowl and toss to coat.

4. Into a rimmed baking sheet, place the ginger slices and jalapeño.

5. Pour chicken and all of the sauce over it. Pop tray into the oven and cook for 1 hour. Flip wings once during cooking.

6. Remove the tray from the oven and raise the heat to 450 degree F.

7.Stir and flip the chicken in the sauce once again and pop it back in the oven to cook for an additional 15-25 minutes, or just until the sauce becomes thick and turns into a glaze. During this time, watch your wings and stir and toss them in the sauce occasionally. The sauce might start to burn on the tray, but don’t worry, your wings will be fine. Don’t let the sauce reduce too much or it will burn.

8. Remove from oven and let them stand in the sauce on the tray out of the oven for a couple minutes. Toss then a few times.

9. Remove to a plate and spoon over or brush on any leftover glaze from the tray.

10. Garnish with cilantro and serve as an appetizer or with some steamed vegetables as a meal.
