Sweet and savory chicken dish which you can prepare with very few ingredients and surprise your guests.
Boneless chicken pieces | 250 Gram , cut in strips | |
Ginger paste | 1 Teaspoon | |
Ginger | 1/2 Inch , julienned | |
Cayenne pepper powder | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Honey | 2 Tablespoon | |
Onion | 1/2 , sliced | |
Vegetable oil | 3 Tablespoon | |
Juice of lemon | 1 | |
Salt | To Taste | |
For garnish | ||
Julienned ginger | 1 Teaspoon |
GETTING READY
1. Cut chicken pieces into long strips. Use boneless and de-skinned chicken.
2. Marinate the chicken with cayenne pepper powder, ginger paste, lemon juice, and salt to taste. Set aside for 2 hours.
MAKING
3. In a heavy bottomed wok/pan, heat vegetable oil and fry the marinated chicken pieces till they are cooked and lightly brown. If not using a non stick pan, add water to prevent sticking while frying.
4. Add sliced onion and cook for another minute. Season with salt to taste.
5. Stir in ginger julienne and honey. Mix until well incorporated.
SERVING
6. Serve hot.
