Chicken wings | 3 Pound , split at the joints (about 1.5 kg) | |
Celery stalk | 2 , cut into third | |
Carrots | 2 , quartered | |
Bay leaves | 2 | |
Chicken broth | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Hot sauce | 1 Cup (16 tbs) (Frank's RedHot sauce) | |
Paprika | 2 Tablespoon | |
Unsalted butter | 2 Tablespoon | |
Honey | 1 Tablespoon | |
Water | 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) |
GETTING READY
1. Preheat oven to 425 degree F.
2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
MAKING
3. Place a deep skillet over medium flame, and add chicken wings, butter, honey, paprika, chicken stock, water, hot sauce, bay leaves ,celery, and carrot in it. Stir well. Bring it to a simmer and cook for about 18 minutes or until chicken is almost cooked.
4. Transfer chicken on to a baking sheet. Place the sheet in oven and cook for about 30 minutes, turning the wings once about half way through.
5. Remove and discard vegetables from skillet and simmer the sauce for 15 minutes or until thickened.
6. Drop baked chicken wings back into the skillet, reserving some sauce for dipping. Stir to coat well.
SERVING
7. Serve baked buffalo wings with reserved sauce and blue cheese.
