Cranberry Chicken

Ingredients

Cranberries 1 Cup (16 tbs) (Fresh Or Frozen)
Chopped onion 3/4 Cup (12 tbs)
Salt 1/2 Teaspoon
Ground cinnamon 1/4 Teaspoon
Ground ginger 1/4 Teaspoon
Broiler fryer chicken 3 1/2 Pound , quartered and skin removed (1 Chicken)
Orange juice 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Grated orange peel 1 Teaspoon
Butter/Margarine 3 Tablespoon , melted
All purpose flour
Brown sugar 3 Tablespoon
Hot cooked noodles 1 Cup (16 tbs)

Directions

MAKING

1. In a slow cooker add the first five ingredients and mix.

2. Place chicken on top.

3. Pour orange juice gently over chicken.

4. Sprinkle orange peel over it.

5. Cover and simmer for 5-6 hours.

6. Drain out the chicken.

7. Cut out bite sized pieces from chicken.

8. Keep aside in a warm place.

9. In a small bowl mix butter and flour until smooth.

10. Stir it into the slow cooker.

11. Cook on high for 20 minutes until thick.

12. Add chicken and brown sugar. Heat thoroughly.

SERVING

13. Serve over noodles.
