Ingredients

Chicken 3 Pound
Butter 1 1/2 Ounce
Celery stick 2
Onions 6 Small
Carrots 2 Medium
Turnip 1 Small
Stock 1/2 Pint

Directions

GETTING READY

1) Chop the onions.

2) Slice the carrots and green peppers.

MAKING

3) Toss the chicken in flour and fry in hot oil to seal the meat.

4) To a casserole, transfer the fried chicken.

5) Fry the cut vegetables and add these to chicken.

6) Pour the stock over the chicken and vegetables and season.

7) In the oven cook the casserole with lid for 1 1/4 hours at 350°F, 180°C, Gas Mark 4.

8) Pack the casserole and freeze.

SERVING

9) Thaw the chicken, reheat it and serve hot with bread.
