Ingredients

Fryer chicken 1 Large (Or Use Hen)
Onion 1 Large , chopped
Cooking oil 3 Tablespoon (Or As Required)
Green chilies 4 Ounce , chopped
Canned green chilies 4 Ounce , seeded and finely chopped (1 Can)
Cream of mushroom soup 1 Can (10 oz)
Velveeta cheese 1 Cup (16 tbs) , grated
Tortillas 8
Tortillas 8 , each cut into 6 pieces

Directions

GETTING READY

1) Preheat the oven to 325 degrees.

2) Steam the chicken until soft.

3) Remove the skin and bones.

4) Cut the chicken into bite size pieces.

MAKING

5) In a skillet, heat oil and saute onion.

6) To this, add chilies, soup and half of the grated cheese.

7) Cook over low heat, until cheese melts.

8) Grease a casserole for baking.

9) In the casserole, arrange the tortilla pieces.

10) On top, place half of the chicken, and half of the cheese sauce to form layers.

11) Repeat this process for the rest. Top with remaining cheese.

12) Bake uncovered for 45 to 60 minutes, or until heated thoroughly.

SERVING

13) Serve with green salad, slices of ripe tomato and Guacamole.
