For bbq sauce | ||
Ketchup | 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
Brown sugar | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Worcheshire sauce | 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) | |
Soy sauce | 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) | |
Liquid smoke flavoring | 2 Tablespoon | |
Hot sauce | 1 Tablespoon | |
Mustard | 2 Tablespoon | |
Vegetable oil | 2 Tablespoon | |
Black pepper | 1/2 Tablespoon |
GETTING READY
Preheat the grill to 250 degrees F.
MAKING
For rub – in a bowl, add in all the ingredients and set aside.
Pour the oil over the chicken and rub; season the chicken with rub and spread evenly.
Place on the grill; meanwhile, prepare the sauce – in a large bowl, mix together all the ingredients.
When chicken is cooked for an hour, start coating the meat with BBQ sauce and then after every 15 – 20 minutes until done.
Chicken is done when internal temperature reaches 165 – 170 degrees F.
SERVING
Slice the chicken and serve with some more BBQ sauce if desired.
