Root Beer Butt Chicken - English Grill and BBQ Recipe

Ingredients

Chicken 1
Olive oil 3 Tablespoon
Bbq rub 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) (Don Marcus)
Root beer 1 Can (10 oz)

Directions

GETTING READY

1. Prepare the monolith grill for cooking. Bring up the temperature to 300 F.

MAKING

2. Rub olive oil all over the chicken.

3. Sprinkle bbq rub over it such that its completely covered.

4. Empty some root beer in to a glass and use it to inject chicken in the breast and the thighs.

5. Place the chicken on the beer can (with the remaining beer) and put it on the grill.

6. Let the chicken grill until it reaches an internal meat temperature of 75 C or 160 F. Leave the dome lid open such that the skin crisps up a bit.

SERVING

7. Slice and serve the chicken.
