Betty demonstrates how to make Non-alcoholic Cherry Bombs. These are a great sweet treat for the 4th of July holiday.
|Stemmed maraschino cherries||10 Ounce|
|White chocolate chips||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Sugar||2 Tablespoon (dark blue)|
Drain cherries and pat dry. Set aside.
Place white chocolate chips in an oven-safe bowl and heat in microwave oven until melted. Be sure to heat on low power and check and stir every 20 to 30 seconds.
To assemble Cherry Bombs, hold maraschino cherry by its stem and swirl it in the melted white chocolate chips.
Then roll it in the dark blue sugar, making a display of red, white, and blue.
Place Cherry Bombs on a nice serving plate. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until serving time.
