Betty's Oreo Cheesecake (Similar to Cheesecake Factory) -- EASTER

Ingredients

Oreo cookie crumb 1 1/2 Cup (24 tbs) (very fine)
Melted butter 2 Tablespoon
Cream cheese 1 1/2 Pound , softened (full fat cream cheese used for best results)
Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Eggs 5
Salt 1/4 Teaspoon
Vanilla extract 2 Teaspoon
Flour 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Sour cream 8 Ounce
For batter
Oreo cookie 5 , coarsely chopped
For topping
Oreo cookies 10 , coarsely chopped (or more)

Directions

GETTING READY

1. Preheat oven to 325 degree F.

MAKING

2. In a mixing bowl, combine cookie crumbs with melted butter. Mix well.

3. In the bottom of a 9 ½-inch spring form pan, transfer the mixture. Spread on the bottom and ½-inch up the sides and press well. Pop the pan in refrigerator for 15 minutes.

4. In a large bowl, take cream cheese and using a mixer on medium speed beat until light and fluffy.

5. Gradually add sugar and continue to beat until well combined. Scrape down the sides as and when needed.

6. Add eggs, one at a time and beat well after each addition.

7. Add salt, vanilla, and flour. Mix well and then beat in the sour cream.

8. Put coarsely chopped Oreo cookies into the batter and fold to spread evenly.

9. Pour batter into the spring form pan and top it with more coarsely chopped Oreo cookies.

10. Place the pan on center rack of oven and bake for 75 minutes.

11. Turn off the oven and let the cake remain in the oven for 1 hour with the door open. Transfer it to a wire rack and let it cool completely.

12. After the cake is cooled completely pop it in refrigerator for a few hours or overnight.

SERVING

13. Cut in slices and serve cake nice and chilled.
