By far the BEST turkey burger I have ever had. The inspiration was on an episode of Diners Drive-Inns and Dives. I simply turned their turkey sandwich into a burger.

In a large bowl, combine cola, vegetable oil, soy sauce, garlic, pepper and mix well. Add turkey breast to this marinade, cover with a plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
Preheat the grill.
MAKING:
Next day, cut the marinated breast into small cubes and using a grinder grind the meat.
Make patties as shown in the video, pop into refrigerator and allow it to chill.
Sprinkle kosher salt and pepper over patties and place on grill. Cook until the patty turns brown. Simultaneously grill bacon slices as well.
Place medium cheddar cheese slices over the cooked patty (on the grill) and cover with a small lid.
Toast the hamburger buns. Spread mayo on bottom half of bun. Top with lettuce leaf, tomato slices, turkey patty, grilled bacon slices, onion rings, avocado, thousand island dressing and cover with top bun.
SERVING:
Serve and enjoy!
