Have you ever wondered how to make homemade Velveeta cheese? Well wonder to no more. You too can make this classic cheese from scratch in your own kitchen. American cheese doesn't need to be scary its filled with all sorts of cheesy goodness. Learn how to make this classic cheese from your own kitchen. You will need Colby cheese, Parmesan cheese, milk, gelatin, dry milk powder to make your own cheese.


Gelatin 1 Teaspoon
Water 1 Tablespoon
Milk 2/3 Cup (10.67 tbs) , warm
Colby cheese 12 Ounce , grated
Parmesan cheese 2 Ounce
Dry milk powder 2 Tablespoon
Paprika 1/4 Teaspoon



1. In a small bowl, take water and sprinkle gelatin on top. Set aside for a couple of minutes.


2. In a pan, heat milk until just below a scald.

3. In mixer, add grated Colby cheese, parmesan, paprika, and milk powder.

4. In pan with warm milk, add gelatin mixture and mix until fully dissolved. Pour the mixture into the mixer and blend until nice and creamy.

5. Line a small loaf pan with plastic wrap, and pour cheese mixture into it. Cover the top with plastic and place in refrigerator for about 3-4 hours or until set.


6. Use as desired.
