Shrimp Cheese Turnovers

Butter/Margarine 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Cream cheese 3 Ounce , softened (1 Package)
All purpose flour
Process cheese spread with pimiento 15 Ounce (1 Jar)
Canned shrimp 4 1/2 Ounce , drained and cut up (1 Can)



1) Into the flour, cut the butter and cream cheese till the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

2) Shape the dough into a ball and chill it for 1 hour.


3) Roll the dough on a lightly floured surface to a thickness of 1/8-inch and cut it into circles with a 2-inch round cutter.

4) With the cheese spread, dot the dough rounds and sprinkle with cut-up shrimp pieces.

5) Fold over each round to make half circles and seal the edges.

6) On an ungreased baking sheet, bake in the preheated oven till the preparation is golden brown (about 15 minutes of baking).


7) Serve the Shrimp Cheese Turnovers while still hot. Makes a good snack and can be served with a dip of choice.
