Lemon Cheese Cookies

Ingredients

Soft butter/Margarine 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Cream cheese 3 Ounce , softened (1 package)
Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Egg yolk 1
Lemon extract 1/2 Teaspoon
Grated lemon rind 1 Teaspoon
Sifted all purpose flour 2 1/2 Cup (40 tbs)
Salt 1/2 Teaspoon
Colored sugar/Cinnamon sugar /finely chopped nuts 1 Tablespoon

Directions

Cream butter, cheese, and sugar; add egg yolk and flavorings and beat until light.

Add sifted flour and salt; mix well.

Force through spritz gun or cookie press onto ungreased cookie sheets.

Decorate as desired.

Bake in preheated moderate oven (350°F.) for about 15 minutes.
