In this video, Betty demonstrates how to make Frosty Treats, a spin-off of "Muddy Buddies" or "Puppy Chow." This recipe uses Crispix corn and rice cereal, white chocolate chips, and Nutella hazelnut butter, and makes a "frosty" confection. This luscious snack doesn't even need to be baked!
Crispix cereal | 8 1/2 Cup (136 tbs) (any combination) | |
White chocolate chips | 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
Nutella hazelnut spread | 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) | |
Butter | 2 Tablespoon | |
Confectioners sugar | 3/4 Cup (12 tbs) |
MAKING
1. Into a large bowl, place cereal and set aside.
2. In a small saucepan, combine white chocolate chips, Nutella, and butter. Place pan over low heat and stir constantly until melted and smooth.
3. Pour melted mixture over cereal, stirring to coat.
4. Into 2-gallon resealable food storage plastic bag, transfer the mixture and add confectioner's sugar. Seal bag and shake until well coated.
5. Spread on waxed paper to cool.
SERVING
6. Store in airtight container or serve immediately.
