Rice Crispy Treats are an American favorite from the young to the young at heart. We are dressing up ours a little bit this year with a Halloween flare. We hope you love these sweet treats as much as we do!
Butter | 3 Tablespoon | |
Marshmallow | 10 Ounce (((1 bag))) | |
Red food color | 10 Drop | |
Yellow food color | 10 Drop | |
Rice crispies | 6 Cup (96 tbs) | |
Reese peanut butter cups | 5 , quartered | |
Candy corn | 2 Ounce | |
Caramel | 2 Tablespoon (((as needed))) |
GETTING READY
1. Grease a 9x13 baking dish and set aside.
MAKING
2. In a large saucepan, combine butter, marshmallow, red and yellow food coloring. Place the pan on medium heat, stir and cook for about 10 minutes or until the marshmallow melts.
3. Once marshmallows have melted, quickly stir in the rice crispy.
4. Into the greased baking dish, transfer the rice crispy mixture and spread evenly.
5. Top rice crispy treats with peanut butter cups, candy corn and drizzle caramel. Allow to cool.
SERVING
6. Cut into pieces and serve!
