Sour Cream Noodle Bake

This Sour Cream Noodle Bake is so easy to make, and chances are you have everything you need already in your pantry to prepare this hearty dish. This casserole has a creamy filling, and it is packed with meat so your family will love this dish.


Noodles 8 Ounce , cooked and drained
Ground beef 1 Pound
Butter 2 Tablespoon
Salt 1 Teaspoon
Black pepper 1/8 Teaspoon
Garlic salt 1/4 Teaspoon
Tomato sauce 8 Ounce
Cottage cheese 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Sour cream 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Sharp cheddar cheese 1 Cup (16 tbs) , shedded
Chopped onion 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)



1. Chop the onions.

2. Pre heat the oven to 350 degrees F.


3. Cook the pasta as per the directions on the package.

4. In a saute pan, melt the butter.

5. Add the onions and saute them.

6. Add the ground beef and stir to mix it well with the onions.

7. Season with salt, black pepper and garlic salt. Stir and cook the beef until it is no longer pink.

8. Add the tomato sauce and mix it in and let it simmer over medium heat until done.

9. Add sour cream and cottage cheese to the cooked and drained pasta. Mix well.


10. In a casserole dish, arrange alternate layers of pasta and the meat mixture starting with pasta and as shown in the video.

11. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top and bake at 350 degrees F for 20-25 minutes.


12. Serve hot and bubbly right out of the oven.
