Baked Cheesy Potatoes

Baked Cheesy Potatoes are a hit at Sunday dinners in my family and perfect for large holiday gathering. The creaminess of this side dish is sure to satisfy and keep your guests coming back for more.


Frozen shredded potatoes 2 Pound , thawed
Butter 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) , melt
Cream of chicken soup 10 3/4 Ounce
Light sour cream 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Cheddar cheese 2 Cup (32 tbs) , shredded
Salt 2 Teaspoon
Pepper 1 Teaspoon
Corn flakes 1 Cup (16 tbs) , lightly crushed



1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. Grease a 13x9x2 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray and set aside.


3. In a large bowl, add potatoes, butter, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, cheddar cheese, salt and pepper. Mix well.

4. Into the baking dish, transfer the mixture. Spread evenly.

5. Sprinkle cornflakes on top.

6. Pop the baking dish in oven, and bake for 45 minutes.


7. Serve baked cheesy potatoes hot.


You can prepare the dish and pop it in refrigerator a night before you wish to serve. Just 1 hour before serving preheat oven and bake potatoes for 45 minutes.
