This Sweet And Sour Carrots is absolutely delightful to pep up weekend family dinners. Enjoy as a light meal or otherwise, the Sweet And Sour Carrots is sure to catch you by surprise and get you hooked to it.


Baby carrots 1 1/4 Pound (625 Grams)
Honey 125 Milliliter (1/2 Cup)
Wine vinegar 90 Milliliter (6 Tablespoon)
Cinnamon 1/8 Teaspoon
Ginger 1/8 Teaspoon
Cloves 1/8 Teaspoon
Cardamom 1/8 Teaspoon
Salt 1/8 Teaspoon
Marsala/Madeira 25 Milliliter (1 1/2 Tablespoon)
Slivered green peppers 250 Milliliter (1 Cup)


Par cook well scrubbed carrots.


Combine all other ingredients in a skillet and heat to nearly boiling.

Add the drained carrots to the skillet and continue to cook, stirring occasionally, until the sauce reduces and glazes the carrots.

Add the green pepper strips and cook only a minute more.

Serve at once.
