Fresh mint leaves | 12 (8 | |
Canadian maple syrup | 1/4 Ounce | |
Bourbon | 2 Ounce (Woodford Reserve Bourbon) | |
Crushed ice | 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) (as needed) | |
For garnish | ||
Mint sprigs | 3 | |
Apple slices | 2 | |
Apple brandy | 1 Tablespoon (Laird's (as needed)) | |
Icing sugar | To Taste |
MAKING
1. In julep cup, add mint leaves, maple syrup, and bourbon. Stir to just bruise the leaves.
2. Fill the glass with crushed ice and garnish with mint sprigs and apple slices.
FINALIZING
3. Drizzle little apple brandy on top and sprinkle icing sugar.
SERVING
4. Serve and enjoy!
