Chocolate banana cake, a perfect cake recipe to serve for a dessert or at tea time. Serve it warm and enjoy it.


Plain flour 1 1/2 Cup (24 tbs)
Cocoa powder 2 Tablespoon
Baking soda 1/2 Teaspoon
Baking powder 1/4 Teaspoon
Melted butter 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Condensed milk 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Brown sugar 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Mashed banana 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Vanilla essence 1 Teaspoon
Fresh cream 3/4 Cup (12 tbs)
For greasing and dusting
Melted butter 1 Teaspoon (For greasing)
Plain flour 1 Teaspoon (For dusting)



1. Preheat oven to 360 degree F or 180 degree C.

2. Grease a 7-inch cake tin with melted butter and dust it uniformly with flour. Shake and remove the excess flour and set the tin aside.


3. In a bowl, sieve plain flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and baking powder. Keep aside.

4. In a large mixing bowl, combine melted butter, condensed milk, brown sugar, mashed banana and vanilla essence. Mix well.

5. Add the dry flour mixture and cream into the bowl and mix well.

6. Into the prepared pan, transfer the batter and spread evenly. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until a knife inserted in the cake comes out clean.

7. Remove from the oven then demold from tin.


8. Cut into pieces and serve warm.
