Fudgy Chocolate Brownie Cake

If youre looking for something easy, foolproof and insanely good, you have come to the right place, my friend. This fudgy chocolate brownie cake is guaranteed to impress.


Unsalted butter 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) ((100g))
Soft brown sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs) ((200g))
Chocolate 4 1/2 Ounce , chopped ((125g, dark/bittersweet))
Maple syrup/Golden syrup 1 Tablespoon
Eggs 2 Large
Vanilla extract 1 Teaspoon
Cocoa powder 2 Tablespoon
Salt 1/2 Teaspoon
Baking powder 1/2 Teaspoon
All purpose flour
Topping 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) ((fresh fruit, icing sugar, whipped cream (or even ice cream!) to serve))



Preheat oven to 350°F.

Grease cake tin with butter and dust with flour.



In a saucepan, heat butter. Add sugar, chocolate, maple syrup and stir well.

Melt until smooth and then allow to cool completely.

Whisk in eggs, vanilla, baking soda, salt, cocoa powder and flour.

Pour into cake tin and pop into oven.

Bake for 20-25 min and once done allow to cool completely.



Serve cold or warm with fresh fruit or icing sugar dusting or whipped cream and enjoy!
