Vanilla Sour Cream Cake is a delicious and easy to make cake, perfect for serving with coffee and tea. Butter, sugar, eggs, flour and vanilla bean paste are combined with sour cream to create a smooth velvet batter. Castor sugar | 3/4 Cup (12 tbs) (Super Fine White Sugar) | |
Eggs | 2 | |
Vanilla | 1 Teaspoon (I used Vanilla Bean Paste) | |
Self raising flour | 1 3/4 Cup (28 tbs) | |
Sour cream | 250 Gram | |
Powdered sugar | 2 Tablespoon (for dusting) |
GETTING READY:
Preheat oven to 350F.
Grease bundt pan with cooking spray.
MAKING:
In a bowl, combine butter, sugar, vanilla extract and beat until creamy and fluffy.
Add eggs and beat well.
Add flour in batches and mix slowly.
Add sour cream in batches and mix well.
Transfer the mixture into bundt pan and pop into oven.
Bake for 35 minutes. Allow to cool for 5 minutes or until done.
Dust with powdered sugar.
