My new FAVORITE coffee cake! Banana bread coffee cake with butter pecan rum glaze! Pure bakery-worthy coffee cake heaven!!

Y'all...smh...this banana bread coffee cake is the bomb diggitiness! It gets even better then next day. It's the perfect cross between banana bread and banana cake!

A simple crumb topping and butter pecan rum glaze just takes it over the top! a banana lover I'm real excited about this one. Hope you enjoy!!!


All purpose flour
Baking powder 1 Tablespoon
Salt 1 Teaspoon
Granulated sugar 1 Centiliter
Packed light brown sugar 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Unsalted butter 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) (room temperature)
Eggs 2
Vanilla extract 2 Teaspoon
Ripe banana 4 (mashed with 1 teaspoon lemon juice)
Buttermilk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
For crumb topping
All purpose flour 2 Cup (32 tbs)
Brown sugar 2 Cup (32 tbs)
Unsalted butter 1 Cup (16 tbs) (room temperature)
For glaze
Powdered sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Butter 2 Tablespoon , melt
Whole milk To Taste
Rum extract 2 Drop
Pecan pieces To Taste
