Betty's Green Coconut-Cream Cheese Frosting -- St. Patrick's Day

Betty demonstrates how to make Green Coconut-Cream Cheese Frosting to frost the Snowy White Cupcakes from the previous video. This dessert, emphasizing an emerald green color, was created for St. Patrick's Day.


Cream cheese 8 Ounce , softened
Butter 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) , softened
Milk 3 Tablespoon
Vanilla extract 1 Teaspoon
Confectioner’s sugar 16 Ounce
Sweetened, flaked coconut 7 Ounce
Green food color To Taste



In a large bowl, beat butter and cream cheese using medium speed of an electric mixer until creamy. 

Add milk and vanilla. Beat well. 

Add confectioner’s sugar and beat until smooth.

Beat in enough food coloring for the frosting to be emerald green in color. 

Frost cooled cupcakes or a cake. 

Sprinkle white coconut flakes over the top. 

Refrigerate to let frosting set up. Serve and enjoy!
