How To Make A Vegan Chocolate Cake

Who doesn't like a deep, dark chocolate cake? This recipe is a firm favorite, and it's vegan! The cake its self is dark, chocolatey, and fluffy, while the frosting is to die for. It's the perfect consistency, so spreadable, and it just tastes like biting into a bar of chocolate! You'll see other chocolate cake recipes up soon, but for now, this simple, eggless cake is great.

Ingredients

For chocolate cake:
All purpose flour 3 Cup (48 tbs)
Sugar 2 Cup (32 tbs)
Unsweetened cocoa powder 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Baking soda 2 Teaspoon
Coarse salt 1 Teaspoon
Vegetable oil 2/3 Cup (10.67 tbs)
Pure vanilla extract 2 Teaspoon
White vinegar 2 Tablespoon
Cold water 2 Cup (32 tbs)
For frosting:
Semi sweet chocolate 12 Ounce , chopped
Heavy cream 2 Cup (32 tbs)
Light corn syrup 2 Teaspoon (optional)

Directions

GETTING READY:

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Grease baking pans with butter and dust with flour.

 

MAKING:

In a bowl, combine all purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, sugar, salt and whisk well.

Add vegetable oil, vanilla extract, white vinegar, cold water and mix well until well combined.

Mix with flour mixture and whisk well.

Pour batter evenly into two pans and pop into oven.

Bake for 35-40 minutes and once done, allow to cool.

For frosting, heat saucepan and combine chocolate, heavy cream and corn syrup in it.

Stir and cook for 20-25 minutes until well thickened. Transfer to a large bowl and chill until cool for about 2 hours.

Frost the cake with chill frosting as shown in the video.
