Birthday "cakes" can be naturally colorful and sweet when they're made out of delicious fruit!
Cantaloupe | 1 , peeled and sliced across into 1/2 inch thick slices | |
Honeydew | 1 , peeled and sliced across into 1/2 inch thick slices | |
Watermelon | 1 , peeled and sliced across into 1/2 inch thick slices | |
Pineapple | 1 , peeled and sliced across into 1/2 inch thick slices | |
Kiwi | 1 , peeled and sliced across into 1/2 inch thick slices | |
Strawberries | 1 Cup (16 tbs) , stemmed and sliced into rounds | |
Blueberries | 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
Raspberries | 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
Whipped cream | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Powdered sugar | 1 Tablespoon |
MAKING:
Whip sugar and cream until nice and fluffy.
Core the center of cantaloupe, pineapple and honeydew melon using a round cookie cutter to remove seeds.
Stack the sliced rings of alternative fruits and top with berries and whipped cream as shown in the video.
