Packed brown sugar | 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
White sugar | 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) | |

Vanilla extract | 2 Teaspoon | |
All purpose flour | 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
Whole wheat flour | 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
Baking soda | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
Semi sweet chocolate chips | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Cooking spray | 2 Dash |
GETTING READY
Preheat the oven to 375 F. Grease a heart shape baking pan with cooking spray and set aside.
MAKING
Using a stand mixer, cream together the butter and sugar for 4-5 minutes until light and fluffy.
Add in the egg and vanilla extract and mix for 1 minute.
In a large bowl, combine together the white flour, whole wheat flour, baking soda and salt.
Gradually add in the flour mixture to the butter and egg mixture and mix until combined then pour in the chocolate chips and stir.
Press the dough into the prepared baking pan.
Bake for 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
SERVING
Slice the cake and serve.
