Bacon Cheddar Burger Dog on the Weber Kettle

This was a fun cook. I wanted to cook something a little different and I came up with the Bacon Cheddar Burger Dog. I hope you enjoy.


Hamburger mince 1/2 Pound
Sausage 1
Bacon strips 2
Cheddar cheese slices 2
Salt and pepper To Taste
Seasoning To Taste (Any seasoning of your choice)



1. Prepare the grill.

2. Season the hamburger meat with salt, pepper and a seasoning of your choice. Mix lightly using your hands.


3. Form a patty with the seasoned hamburger mince using your hands. Place on a flat surface and using a plat, press the patty so that it flattens out completely.

4. Place the cheddar cheese slices adjacent to each other, slightly overlapping and wrap the sausage with the cheese as shown in the video.

5. Place the cheese wrapped sausage on the flattened hamburger mince and roll to cover completely as shown in the video. Now wrap the bacon strips around it and season once again with pepper as per your taste.

6. Place the prepared burger dog on the weber and allow to grill until done.


7. Slice and serve hot.
