Hamburger buns | 5 (as needed) | |
Softened butter | 2 Tablespoon (as needed) | |
Fritos | 50 Gram (as needed) | |
Thousand island dressing | To Taste | |
For chili | ||
Bacon strips | 5 , diced | |
Ground turkey | 1 1/4 Pound | |
Kosher salt | To Taste | |
Fresh ground black pepper | To Taste | |
Nutmeg | 1 Teaspoon | |
Curry powder | 2 Teaspoon | |
Mexican oregano | 1 Tablespoon | |
Dehydrated minced onion | 2 Tablespoon | |
Granulated garlic | 1 Tablespoon | |
Canned chili sauce | 12 Ounce | |
Water | 2 Cup (32 tbs) | |
Chili powder | 2 Tablespoon |
MAKING
For Chili:
1.Place a cast iron skillet on heat and cook bacon until fat starts rendering.
2.Add ground turkey and cook until browned.
3.Season with salt, ground black pepper, nutmeg, curry powder, oregano, dehydrated onion, and garlic. Stir well.
4.Add chili sauce and water. Bring to a boil. Add chili powder and simmer until thickened, breaking down the meat while cooking.
For Burger:
5.Roll meat into patties and place in fridge until ready to use.
6.Season patties with salt and pepper. Place on preheated grill and cook until done.
7.Top patties with cheese slices and cook until it melts.
8.Spread butter on buns and toast on a cast iron griddle.
SERVING
9.Place a patty on bun, top it with Fritos, followed by chili and Thousand Island dressing. Cover and serve immediately.
