How to Make a Delicious Juicy Kravings Burger

A delicious and juicy burger made with beef, spices, red pepper, mustard seeds, coriander and onions. Grilled to perfection.

Ingredients

Oil 2 Tablespoon , divided
Red onion 1 , thinly sliced (about 180 grams)
Ground beef 2 Pound (medium or regular)
Cumin powder 1 Teaspoon
Chilli powder 1 Teaspoon
Yellow mustard seed 1 Teaspoon
Black pepper 2 Teaspoon , freshly ground
Garlic 10 Clove (50 gm) , crushed
Chopped mushrooms 4 Tablespoon , chopped finely
Red pepper 2 Teaspoon , seeds removed, only skin chopped
Brown bread slice 1 Medium
Milk 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Eggs 1 Medium
Coriander leaves 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) , chopped finely
Salt To Taste

Directions

GETTING READY

1. In a bowl soak brown bread in milk. Set aside.

2. In a pan heat 1 teaspoon of oil. Put onions and sauté till caramelized. Transfer into a bowl. Set aside.

3. Preheat the grill.

MAKING

4. In a bowl add all the ingredients except salt and oil. Put in the caramelized onions and soaked brown bread. Mix well with clean hands till all are well combined.

5. Make patties with equal portions either using a patty maker or hands. Wrap the patties and place in the refrigerator or freezer for 10 minutes.

6. Remove the patties from the fridge, brush the patties with oil and sprinkle them with coarse salt. Place the patties on the grill and cook for around 4 minutes on each side or till the meat is cooked.

SERVING

7. Use these patties to be served as it or in burgers.
