Low Fat Roast Beef Bacon Cheeseburger'

This low fat cheeseburger is healthy and satiating owing to its high protein content. The best part is that it ends up making you feel less guilty so you can give in to the temptation of your favorite cheeseburger once in a while.


Lean beef chuck 5 Pound , ground
Lean beef roast 1 Pound , chopped finely
Lean bacon 1 Pound , smoked
Reduced fat low sodium cheese 1 Cup (16 tbs) , shredded
Whole wheat burger buns 8 Medium , divided in halves
Salt To Taste
Pepper To Taste
Garlic granules To Taste
Olive oil 4 Tablespoon
For topping



1. On a smoker, over indirect flame, place the lean smoked bacon and cook for about an hour. Chop and set aside.


2. In a large mixing bowl, combine lean ground beef chuck, lean roast beef, salt, pepper, garlic, cheese, and smoked bacon. Mix well, divide into equal portions and shape into patties.

3. On a hot griddle, place the patties over medium heat, cover and sear on both sides until done.

4. Place each patty on one half of the bun, sprinkle more cheese on top of patties, cover with the other half of burger bun and grill until cheese melts.


5. Serve hot.
