Healthy Bean Soya CheeseBurger

This vegetarian cheeseburger makes use of exciting ingredients that make it completely satisfying and extremely healthy at the same time.


Red kidney beans 2 Cup (32 tbs) , boiled, mashed
Potato 1 Cup (16 tbs) , boiled, mashed
Soy granules 1 Cup (16 tbs) , prepared
Whole wheat bread crumbs 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Shredded cheddar cheese 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Whole wheat burger buns 8 Medium , divided into halves
Salt To Taste
Pepper To Taste
Garlic granules To Taste
Olive oil 4 Tablespoon
For topping



1. Cook the red kidney beans until soft and then mash once cool.

2. Boil and peel potatoes and then mash them.

3. Prepare the soya granules by placing in boiling water, soaking for 10 minutes and then straining.


4. In a large mixing bowl, combine mashed kidney bean and potatoes, the prepared soy granules, salt, pepper, garlic, cheese, and bread crumbs. Mix well, divide into equal portions and form into patties.

5. On a hot griddle, place the patties, over medium heat, cover and sear on both sides using just the required amount of olive oil.

6. Remove patties once uniformly done on both sides.

7. Place each patty on one half of the burger bun, sprinkle more cheese on top of patties, cover with the other half of burger bun and grill until cheese melts.


8. Serve hot.
