This is my version of Red Robin's "Burn'n Love Burger".
Ground beef | 300 Gram | |
For spice blend | ||
Steak seasoning | 1 Teaspoon | |
Season salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
Cayenne | 1 Pinch | |
Other ingredients | ||
Hamburger bun | 2 , cut into half | |
Pepperjack cheese | 50 Gram ((4 slices)) | |
Chipotle mayo | 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) | |
Tomatoes | 1/2 , slice | |
Salsa | 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) | |
Jalapeno coins | 15 Gram ((tempura batter coated jalapeno slices deep fried in oil)) | |
Shredded lettuce | 15 Gram |
GETTING READY
1. Divide meat into two half, and flatten them on parchment paper.
2. For spice blend, in a small bowl mix together steak seasoning, season salt, and cayenne.
3. Liberally season one side of the patties with spice blend.
MAKING
4. Place patties on grill with season side down. Sprinkle spice blend on the other side. Cook up to the edge and then flip. Cook on the other side until done.
5. Cut and toast bun slices on grill.
6. Place 2 cheese slices on each patty, cover and cook until it melts. Remove patties from grill.
7. Now, spread chipotle mayo on both the burger slices.
8. On the bottom slice place a patty. Top it with tomato slices, salsa, and 5 jalapeno coins.
9. Sprinkle shredded lettuce, and cover it with the top piece. Repeat.
SERVING
10. Serve Red Robin burger immediately.
