Hearty Sauced Pork Burgers

Ingredients

Ground pork 2 Pound
Fine dry breadcrumbs 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Egg 1 , beaten
Water 2 Tablespoon
Catsup 2 Tablespoon
Salt 1/2 Teaspoon
Onion powder 1/4 Teaspoon
Dried whole oregano 1/4 Teaspoon
Hamburger buns 8 , split and toasted (optional)
Onion 1/3 Cup (5.33 tbs) , finely chopped
Green pepper 1/3 Cup (5.33 tbs) , finely chopped
Butter/Margarine 3 Tablespoon
Catsup 3/4 Cup (12 tbs)
Brown sugar 2 Tablespoon
Horseradish 1 Teaspoon

Directions

MAKING

1) In a bowl, mix first 8 ingredients.

2) Make 8 patties of about 3/4 inch thickness of this mixture.

3) Broil and grill 4 to 5 inches away from heat 5 minutes on each side or until done.

3) To make pepper onion sauce- In a saucepan, melt butter and saute onion and green pepper until tender. 4) Add all the remaining ingredients and cook until nicely heated.

SERVING

4) Serve the patties in hamburger buns with Pepper-Onion Sauce.
